• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ya Hooo !!!!:yes: She finally has given me the OK.:clap: I,have been lurking here for awhile and wanting a :spyder2: since I seen the first one a couple years ago. So now the hunt is on. So I need some advice I have located a 2010 RTS sm5 with about 18000 miles on it. Did They have any patickler problems with this model? What should I look for and what should I ask the seller?

You should have a dealer run the VIN to see if all of the updates/recalls have been performed. I have the same model and 57,000 miles later I love mine!!

Have the same one and loving every minute of it. As said have dealer run the vin and make sure all updates are done.

Sounds almost like my previous one but I let it go on 12k (unless the tested it for 6000 miles :roflblack:). But mine was a great machine, I am almost certain you should have no issues, but deal with it as a used car:

1) Who is the seller, private or a dealer? If private, grab the VIN and take it to a BRP dealer you feel confident with and they can see the history. If it is a past owner trying to sell, see if he has a maintenance record on it (oil changes, mods, warranty work, etc). If it is a BRP dealer, they should have all that.

2) Does it have the extended warranty? It is transfarable so that should be a pro on your side. The max a new one could get is up to 5 years so you might be looking to a 2-3 year warranty left AGAIN if the previous owner purchased it when new.

Good luck!!

Congratulations on the hunt. The 2010 RTS is a good one. I have a premier edition #474 with 29,000 miles and it will continue to be my ryde for this season. As suggested above, have the dealer run the VIN and have it checked over if you decide to buy it. You could also check on the SL site if it is used by a known member. They sometimes post good and bad about their particular :ani29:'s.

Let us know what you decide--and add a picture or two.
