• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Riding my SE5 at about 43mph my wheels seem to pull to the right... twice, not uncontrolable but made me aware of the problem. Anyone else have this problem? :yikes:

Yes. Mine pulls slightly to the left. I checked tyre pressures etc. but have worked out that the wheel alignment is ever so slightly out. My Can-Am technician says he can correct it in a matter of minutes using a laser alignment tool. It is a problem for me because I only have the use of my right arm (and right leg) so I can't take my hand off the bar. I am waiting for the parts needed for the service bulletin addressing shifting issues so I'll have him do the wheel alignment then. Ask your dealer to look into this.

If it is an alignment issue, then it will containously pull to one side and not intermittenly. You might want to have that checked out at the dealer. It seems that a wacked gear position sensor could affect the PS. Others range from possible bad relay to software upgrade. Eitherway I wouldn't want to be on a twisty banking left when the steering wants to go right.

:agree:

Alignment issues normally get worse with increased speed but in any case will not have a narrow speed range where it is noticable. I'd say it is more likely a power steering assist issue occuring at 43mph.

Just my 2cents but I'd get it checked.

Also consider that the track of the Spyder can be sensitive to the texture of the road itself. I have a stretch of road that I ride every day and if I stay closer to the right side of the lane in a certain portion the Spyder tracks to the right everyday. It's an almost undistinguishable dip in the road yet it affects the Spyder. It took me by surprise the first couple of times but now I can replicate it on that road any time.

dips, grooves, cracks, slopes are not friendly to 2 or 3 wheels:(

I've noticed this also, many times.
