• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I meet every Saturday morning at a local shopping center parking lot where there is a small "car show". There are usually 10 to 20 of us that stand around, drink coffee and try and decide where we are going for breakfast. The herd is mainly Harleys with a couple of Beemers, Goldwings and a Victory thrown in the mix. I'm the only Spyder in the group and at first they all wondered if I would be able to keep up. Not any more! The big VW is hand made by a local who has approximately 120 cars that he has built or restored. In the group picture you'll see what looks like a Peterbilt that he made. It's 3/4 scale and perfect. Anyway, we usually get in a combination of freeway, city and twistys in the course of the day and end up at the American Legion in Redondo Beach to wind down. Great bunch and we have a lot of fun.

We ran with a group of Gold Wingers when we lived back in Alaska. Was with them for about a year and then the club disbanded. The breakfast stop was the highlight of the group ride.
