• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Just got the Gopro, what a great vidcam. Just wanted to post a video for whoever wants to watch....[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aua_OTqKbvI[/ame]

That is a nice picture. I am looking at options to have a nice camera for shooting video. The one I have it okay but it is wavy sometimes and it really isn't a camera meant for mounting on a bike. I need one that I can control when it is on and off and the angle and still have a clear and crisp picture. That one looks pretty good but my husband had a GoPro once and didn't really like his. I wonder if they have improved since he had his?

Thanks for putting that up.I've recently bought the GoPro Motosport rig and have not done anything yet...looking forward to it.
Once again,nice video!

Very nice video. Wish we could swap places you can have the beaches and we will take the hill country:ohyea:. Next time you do one, can you put the camera on the right side so we can see the country side as well. It looks like it would be very nice to ride. Thanks CJ

Like the scenery

Where was the gopro mounted? It's almost like we had the view from the passenger seat.

the new HD go cam's are awesome compared to the gen ones.

the suction cup mount on the left side of the head that comes with the go cam, you can see it in the shadows. I had a buddy do it on the right side and it gives quite a different view than my top mount. I wondered if you can feel the air drag on that side

Nice area, i was down there 2 months ago.

Seth, thanks, I will have to check them out again.

No you can't feel any drag on the camera and it was mounted on the left side of my half helmet. The controls are a little cumbersome and I am going to set it for one button off and on thats because on this run I actually thought I took 4 vids but accidentally put it into 60 second still picture mode and took an additional 280 stills. To my surprise it doesn't move much and takes very sharp videos of course this one I reduced in size so I could upload it conveniently. I have the atv clamp attachment for it and will try this mounted on the passanger grips the next time out. I will post that one, thanks everyone!

I know exactly what you mean with the bottons, i have a bunch of pictures that should have been great videos

Thanks for the update and the answer on the drag question. Looking forward to seeing your next video with it mounted to the passenger hand holds.

+1 That's one of the reasons I didn't like the GoPro camera I had. I missed a lot of great pics and video as the camera would turn off or be in the wrong mode. :gaah: Plus, I think it wasn't made for impromptu use meaning that it wasn't easy to turn it on and off or select the desired mode while riding (to catch an unexpected great picture or video).

Try the Vholdr Contour 1080. Awesome camera with a wide choice of mounting places.

I studied all the popular choices including this one but found the color and contrast with the Gopro more to my liking. While the video I posted wasn't taken in HD, I have shot some others and we have viewed them on a 42 inch tv and the quality was unbelievable.....Still happy with this purchase. The one touch setup should work better.
