• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I love my Victory Cross Country too, but to be honest, I have not ridden it since I got the K1600. Awesome bike!

So do you ride one a hundred feet then walk back and get the other one??? otherwise you seem short a rider

It's going to be real hard for a V twin to match the smoothness of that slant 6 in the K1600. I'm a Beemer fan, and when I did a test drive of the K1600 I was amazed at the power, torque, and ease of controlling all of it. It truly rides and feels like a much smaller bike. Congrats!

Please send me a PM about what you think about the Beemer. I have been lusting a little bit on that one.

Its an awesome bike. 160 HP, smooth as silk, incredible handling, the trunk and bags are quick release and the bike looks great without them, every electronic gizmo, electronically adjustable suspension, both pre-load and damping, front and rear. You just need to go take a demo ride to see if its the right bike for you. I love it. I am just not a goldwing guy or a Harley guy. I did have a Valkyrie, and I loved it, but the handling and the electronics were too out of date. I had an M109, a VTX1800, all good bikes, but the BMW is a sport bike you can ride all day with luggage. Best of both worlds IMO. I still have a Victory, which takes care of my V twin cruiser fix!

I did take a long ride 2 up on my Wife's Spyder RT recently, and I have to say, it is actually the most comfortable bike I have. And with a stock seat.

Thank you for the quick review. I can see you have had the pleasure to own and ride some of the good stuff. I also, have a V-twin to satisfy my urge for 2 wheels--my dilema is, do I go for the Beemer to replace the 900 Vulcan. Spring will tell, I guess.
