• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Spyder is in LyMp Mode HELP!

Richardson Motorsports is one of our sponsors. They pay for expenses of the group and gave me a lot of free advice and also hooked up the BUDS to it to diagnose the problem without charging me a penny. Going to another supplier would not have been very nice of me. I will pay whatever they charge and say thank you for their help and 15% discount. Our sponsors are why you can be a member of Spyder Ryders without paying dues. They are also providing a meeting room so we can have monthly meetings with free Dunkin Donuts and coffee.
The bad part is that I missed a Ryde they had yesterday.

Unfortunately I'm not bless with a good dealer around my area. So I have to go this route. Wasn't saying anything bad about the dealer just pointing out there are ones that take advantage of us. Called my closest dealer just to see if they could get close to Powersports price. I had ordered a total of $24.65 in parts. Their price was $75.00 plus tax.

Well I just put in the new sensor cable and everything is good now. Took it for a ride and at first it did not want to shift. then slowly the tranny started working . I was getting some popping from the engine. I just had to blow some cobwebs out. After it running so long in limp mode it had a few built up.
Thanks everyone for your help!

Hi AY4B,

Re: everything is good now.

Always glad to hear a success story; also helps to hold back against the nay-sayers about these machines being maintenance hogs.

I went for another ride and really enjoyed getting back on it. I dropped my rear tire pressure to 20 and was monitoring my FOBO screen the whole way noting the temperature. We have a ride coming up on Saturday and everything is a go!
