It is amazing how much withdrawal you can go through in a week. Any way, for those that are wondering how it turned out, here it is.
They replaced the oil pressure sensor/switch. When I took the Spyder in, that is the only thing that was throwing faults continuously. Remember though, I did disconnect my battery overnight before I took it up to the dealer. While it was up there, I also had them do an oil change, after they changed out the sensor. (sorry, I forgot to find out if the part numbers were the same, but the new part number they put in is 420956169) I had them put the Spectro Gold which is the Spectro Blend as we will be crossing a variety of climates it would seem.
I picked up my spyder this morning and it started right up. No hesitation, no spitting as I came to stops, no stalling, like it had started doing. Upon deceleration it is not backfiring and giving numerous loud popping. It Idles nicely. One other thing I am noticing and I don't know if it has anything to do with this and I am not sure why it would (explain if you know) my clutch seems tighter. The spyder is not throwing any more fault codes and the check engine light has not come back on. I am going to keep track of the idle, the popping and backfiring, if any lights come on and gas mileage for a few tanks. I will report any interesting or strange finding as they occur.
