• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There were a couple of us there for Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio in July. Does that count? :)

:congrats: I know your going to love the :spyder:! Maybe the rumor of global warming will come true and you will get to ride.

Rumor is that So. IL is going to be in the 60's by this Friday (per my husband). Hard to believe considering thermometer is registering 8 degrees now and with wind chill is below zero right now. I'm counting the hours until the next ride ..although I did get out on Friday - woke up to 60 degrees at 9 a.m. Strange weather we're having.
Won't be riding the Spyder next Friday, though - have offered it up for a post Christmas ride to some folks down the road. The 16 year old and his dad (a returning rider) both took the MSF course last month and don't own a bike of any kind so haven't been able to use their licenses. They are such a nice family - the son and a college age daughter moved into our house to dog sit three times over the summer while we motorcycle toured - he was 15 then and too young to get a "real" job so was a great way for him to earn some summer money and he and his sister did a great job. Anyway, my husband and I are going to outfit them in gear and helmets and I'll take them off for an easy ride - lowered speeds and no "technical" roads. The son will ride the Spyder since he's a beginner and it'll be easier and safer for him and the Dad will ride one of our other bikes since he's ridden before. I think it'll be great seeing the fun that Jake will have on the :spyder: ...my Xmas present to him :2thumbs:.
Hope that same warm weather hits Indiana so you can get that new Spyder out for a ride!
