• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Spyder is Here.....and WOW!!

8LEGS

Picked up my Spyder today!!! Did get to ride a while before the snow and freezing rain started. The high temperature today got up to 19, I have no idea what the wind chill was, but it was COLD!!! All I can say is WOW!!! I thought I would reach for the handbreak, but I never did. What an awesome day. Too bad we now have 3 inches of snow on the ground and freezing rain expected overnight.

I ordered the 6 spoke rims, 12v plug, trunk liner, fog lights, and hindle exhaust. It looks awesome. I was going to order yellow, but was told they had a red on the way, sooooooo, I decided red was good. Glad I did, as it looks amazing.

I'll try to post a few pictures. (still new at this)

Congrats Legs, when the weather breaks this spring, you will have to join us Michiganders and a few Canucks for some riding.

That sounds great. :2thumbs: I would LOVE to meet all of you. Right now, I would be happy with a ride around the block without ice hanging from my visor. LOL.

:congrats: on you red:spyder:. Looks great - glad you were able to get a ryde in today. I hope the weather clears for you and enables you to have many more days ryding your :spyder:.:doorag:

Congrats on the Red Spyder!

I know how you feel about the cold; it was only 59 when I got up this morning and the high was only 79. It's supposed to hit 81 tomorrow...I think I'll ride.

Isn't it soooo cool to have a brand spankin' new toy??? I remember that feeling when I got my Spyder. Congratulations!!! You will have so much fun riding.:congrats: Ride safe.

:congrats: 8LEGS, when the roads are clear, the rydes begin. Where did you get it, Indy or Greenfield?
I'm putting together a trip down 135 to Mauckport, then secondary roads to Siberia, then to French Lick, and so forth up to Helmsburg, going to be about 300 miles, a couple of other Spyder should be going with, no time frame yet, but you're welcome to come along. Probably be spring before it happens.

I got it at Action Motorsports in Lafayette, Indiana. They just started selling the Spyder and I was the first to buy one, so it is a learning experience for both of us. Great people there. Best of all it's only 45 minutes from home, that was the decision maker. I would love to meet up for a ryde. Managed a short trip yesterday before all the freezing rain and snow started, but it wasn't nearly long enough. I love snow, but for the first time in my life I want it to go away. LOL. ;)
