• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Spyder is a car now

Over the last several months of owning my Can-Am Spyder RT I have had people refer to it as a motorcycle, bike, scooter, toy and even an alien spacecraft but today while riding past a school bus stop one the kids yelled out "I really like your car!". Oh well. Just add it to the list I guess. :roflblack:

The shopping cart kid at Krogers ( he's a bit slow) commented that he liked my bike. He was pushing an empty cart at the time so I told him I liked his cart. He gave me a big smile and thanked me.

:2thumbs: Man stick a couple doors and a roof on it and it would be an awsome car ! Hey anyone know where I can get a door kit for the Spyder ?:roflblack:

On one of the can-am reviews someone mentioned they converted a Spyder to a 2 seater car.
Anyone have that review on here? So see.. that is a true statement. It's a car somewhere :)

a little fiberglass , some hinges, and a little paint and we can hook it up over a weekend with what a few cases of beer ? Id like to see that conversion myself ill be looking for that !

A friend recently on seeing my Spyder for the first time said "cool tricycle." Yeah, I guess so.....:ohyea:

I am usually pretty well insulated to what folks say about the Spyders, having weathered a wide variety of comments over the last four seasons. I have to admit that "car" was not one of them, though. Today, I was able to endure two women who called it "cute" at different times, but the one that said it was "adorable" when we went for ice cream tonight, just about pushed my button. I don't remember reading that in the brochure. :gaah:
