• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So does anyone else Spyder just make random sounds?
A clunk here, a buzz there? Not usually repeating any sound either.
Seems like the Blue Bug is trying to tell me something, but I dont know what its saying.

What!!!! you don't speak Spyder. :roflblack:

Buy some ear plugs and drive on. :roflblack:

Just talk back and your:spyder2:will listen I do:roflblack::roflblack:. Our :spyder2: always let us know how they feel and the abnormalities they encounter.

Yes my Spyder RT talks to my.

When I was at the dealer looking at a red one, a really nice looking gray RT said hey what about me. Well it has been a love affair for me.

From time to time she does get mad at me for doing something stupid, but in the end she was right and we are having a great time riding down the road.

Just let a ear out and hear what she it saying to you. It will save you money down the road.

Anything mechanical will do that from time to time. I would not worry about it unless you have a persistent communication from your :spyder2:. Then, it may be trying to tell you something important.

Mine too

Mine talks to me also. One of the noises is the suspension adjusting. The other strange noises go away if I turn the bluetooth down when the wife talks:roflblack:, boy I hope she doesn't read this:yikes:

Gotta say..!!

for those that have not been ryding for some time or ever and are used to driving in a sealed cab with a/c you are just not used to these noises. They come they go they change but not to worry unless your spyder tells you with a code or limp mode or it is persistant and gets worse...ryde on :ohyea:

I could never hear mine ...
the stereo was always turned up to full power... and then some!

2011 RTL Beeps

During a normal ride today our RTL started to "buzz or beep" at us. It did it twice during a rain shower and once after the shower. It beps for about two seconds. Just long enough to register on your brain. No warning icons. Normal instrument readings. No code screens or Orange display. This is the second incident in two years. The first time I blew it off as a quirk.
5009 miles with 2 up.

i have not heard any beeps at random... I hope theres not a smoke detector with the battery low in yours. I can never find which one it is...
