My reverse lights have a problem

My 2013 ST-S does not flash the left rear brake and turn signal when in reverse. I found this by accident when I left it in gear when I closed the garage door on the way out. I am not sure when it started, could it be something that happend when I had the back rest installed at the dealer some months ago? Can I fix it myself?

Depends..!

does the turn signal and brake light work on that side normally..?? Does the four way work properly..?? If not it may be a connection problem on that side. If you can get to the plugs and follow the wiring you may find the problem. If disconnected just plug it back if cut you will have to repaire the wires. If not there it may be the cluster which you can't repair...check around the area they worked on the seat...:thumbup:

All lights work normally, they are on when in reverse but not flashing.

The left turn rear and left turn front are hardwired together. It seems odd that one would flash and the other not. Please double check the front turn (back of mirror) does it flash?

Sorry for the delay. The front flashes normally, the left rear does flash but very weakly. I may have to take the rear covers off to get a better look. I will have to buy a shop manual soon.
