• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, it has taken a while, but I think I've run out of things I've wanted to add to my RT, but, I have to say the wheel balancers that Lamonster Garage has look interestin.

I hope this video works:

:D Did I hear you correctly?
What is a "Last Farkle"?

I've been told that the process NEVER stops... :D
(At least not until you run out of money! :yikes:)

Well Bob, there are a couple of things I still don't have, a trailer, the wheel balancer I mentioned, but not much really. I think I'd like and F3, but as long as my wife is my riding partner I won't get rid of the RT. For my money, it is the best trike for riding two up. So now all I need to do is put gas in it, (gas isn't a farkle is it?), and ride, ride, ride.....................

last farkle--as elusive as bigfoot.
i seem to be a member of the farkle[or 2] of the month club

STOP MAKING NEW STUFF !, people. :banghead::banghead:

This should make both you and your wife happy!

Hi David ... greeting from Switzerland.
very nice. Thanks for sharing.

I have the voltmeter gauge but an analogue clock.
I think that you did set this up in a very nice way and uniform (same kind of gauges).

Now mine are not installed yet and I may consider changing my clock for the one you habe but some question for you ...

I noticed that you have the animation of the gauge when you turn off the key. That means both gauges are permanently connnected to your battery also.

- is this taking a lot of you battery?

I am afraid that if I setup mine like this, not using my Spyder everyday and not connecting a battery tender, this may drain my battery.
any feedback from you on this?

Thanks in advance and thanks for sharing this (but I am convinced that those are NOT your last Farkles).
kind regards,
Bernard

And congrat for your work!

Last farkle? I am also thinking a dubious situation. I have been done for at least two years, but recently found the stick on full size mirrors from TricLed. Two sets on the way for the 11 and the 14. I am thinking these should be the "last" farkles. :roflblack:

I think that dashboard needs some color!

Take a look @ my post's or My Albums you'll see what I mean.
Several other people have painted there dashboards, on this site.

Glad to see you every once in a while, missed your posts. I remember when you did your dash, and thought it was really nice. Since my RT is black, I think I'll leave the dash black.

Hey BernardD, good point, and yes the animation calls for a constant 12 volt source, but the clock would require a constant voltage source anyway in order to keep constant time. I don't think that actually draws down the battery much, but I don't leave my RT sitting around idle too much, I ride a good bit most of the time, and , when I'm not riding, the Battery Tender is connected. But, I did buy one of those jump boxes that Lamonster Garage sells and can not jump start the Spyder if needed.

Hi I have the same voltage guage but have never seen that clock! Where did you get it? I would like to replace the one I currently have with one like yours!

David, I still post/and start threads on this site. Just look @ my posts Count #'s. It seams like yesterday when I posted pictures my painted dashboard. To each his own, about the dashboard.

I have 17,000+ miles on my 2014RTS-SE6. It only took 3 years to get to my current mileage. I have put on a lot of farkles, 2 new front tires, ( last year) 1 rear tire( General Altimax RT43, which I have a lot of thread left. )Deanna

Are these gauges plug'n'play? What are the part numbers for the ones you installed, please?
Great job.
