• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My new seats!!!

I got my seats back in December but I postponed the installation because of the snow and freezing weather here in Reno back then. The weather has been warmer and sunnier and so I finally got the seats installed and have been riding more. I also had a Scorpio i900 alarm installed. I am pleased with the results and I thought of posting it here. Just want to point out that Corbin sort of adapted to Lamonster's way of holding up the main seat up while putting gas. Check it out. (Lamonster should have had his idea patented.:2thumbs:)

Looks Great Close up...

Hey IMRU3,

Those seats are VICIOUS:congrats:. Can you post a wide angle pic to show how they integrate with the :spyder: as a complete package? What about backrests?:dontknow:

seat looks great, just got mine , but mine is only blk did not know that you could have it made 2 tone, anyway mine was a suprize x-mas gift from my wife so i love it anyway, it feels great to ride, good luck enjoy:2thumbs::2thumbs::congrats:

They look totally awesome. Let's get a wide shot with the bike to see how they look. Did you get the backrests to match?

Thank you for all the nice comments you guys. I was in Bodega Bay for two days and I was unable to check the responses here. This is the new style Corbin seats for the Can Am Spyder. Yes, you can combine colors. However, the (Corbin)yellow does not really match the millenium yellow of the Spyder. It's more of a lighter tone. It cost me $848.00 for the whole thing. I ordered the heated seats for the front and back seats. There was no charge on the two-tone color. You just have to be specific with them when ordering what you want. They will gladly help you with the ordering. It took me about 5 weeks to receive the seats from the time I ordered it. Again, I got mine before Christmas but was unable to get it installed since the weather here at that time was too cold and had wintery road conditions. I am quite pleased with the whole set-up. The new look of the seats still compliments the sporty look of the Spyder. I do have the BRP backrest but I have not taken a picture of it yet with the Corbin yellow seats. I hope I answered most of your questions. If not, I will check back again and reply soon.

Two additional replies to make: Yes, it made it feel like the front seat was a little higher compared from the stock. I also have the red SE5 with the stock seat to compare it with. My rear backrest does not match the yellow seats. I have the BRP backrest not the Corbin backrest for the rear seat passenger. I did not order any Corbin backrest for the front seat. I do not feel that I need it at this time.
