• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I picked up my new ride today - 2012 Spyder RT with 11,000 miles on it - after my trade in Yamaha Raider it came to 12,900 OTD I think I got a pretty good deal.

Two brothers exhaust.jpgThe dealership is adding floorboards and Two Brothers exhaust then it will be ready.

Also want to let everyone know, I'm the Rally coordinator for the South East Raider/Stryker Rally in Maggie Valley NC which will benefit Mission Children's Hospital in Asheville NC. Due to my accident I can no longer ride two wheels so I'm a proud owner of a Spyder.
If anyone is interested in attending please feel welcome to join us for some good time, some great riding and help support a great cause.
Just click on the logo in my signature for Rally info.

1.jpg2.jpgHere’s a mod I never thought I’d have to do.

Having a prosthetic leg can be a pain in the butt when trying to wear pants. The cuffs won’t fit over the top of the socket – so you have to put them on from the bottom – first you have to take your shoe off then fight the pants up & over the foot – now put the shoe back on.

It’s a lot easier to just wear shorts – but even now I can’t get used to the idea of riding a motorcycle in shorts. So I took a couple pair of jeans and had a zipper put in the inside
seam. Now they go on just like a pair of shorts – problem solved.
