• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My new camper design to pull behind Spyder

Looks like a fun project, I may build a Pico Lite this winter if I have time. If you go with a aluminium frame make sure you have the tongue strong enough. We have a aluminium frame for our dog trailer and the tongue started to crack after about 10,000 miles and it only weighs 250 lbs.

I know this is old, but someone revived it.

Could the cracking be caused from being connected to a hitch that is non-sprung. Leaves the tongue to do a lot of hard bouncing.

Regards,

Don

Joel:

A company called SafariCondo makes a car sized version of the a folding trailer called the ALTO you might get some pointers from. It is a inverted from your design in so much that the inner portion goes up and down. I like your version more.
