• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Mods

Hello dave01,

Are the hids brighter than the factory lights? If they are brighter is the cost vs increase rider safety worth the expense? Or is this modification more a taste preference?

Thank you
There is no comparing the stockers and the NMN hid lights. Much cleaner, whiter light that really lights up the road. I did the headlights first but then my stock foglights looked real weak, so I did the HID's in there too.
You can really see this thing in the daytime coming don the road.
Well worth the cost.

Worth the difference as I would say it is a no brainer bust mod I have done to date

I did a search on google - can-am spyder hid.
Very interesting price delta in the many kits.
There are 12K000 kits for $170, then I see hid kits going over $1200.
Why is there such extremes in the different kits.
Thank you

The BRP kits are way too overpriced in my opinion. I have tried the 99 dollar ones and had all kinds of issues with the VSS and other systems. I think because they were not digital ballasts. The NMN ones are true plug and play and are working great for me.

NICE JOB

Its ceramic coating from VHT. I have had it on the pipe for 4K miles with no problem and its real easy to touch up.

Cool! Sounds like it will also provide those areas with some extra protection as well. Is this something you can do yourself, or do you have to take it to a painter?

My name is Dave and I am a modoholic.........

2 Bros Carbon can with the P1x insert, not much louder than stock, but flows better and its 13 lbs lighter, which means I can add 13 lbs of ESI lighting

You can do it yourself. I never removed the parts, just some real careful taping ( from my car and bike painting days).

That exhaust looks cool, but really close to the side bag. Is everything going to be alright with that? Also, it looks like you might need to paint that heat shield now as well so you modding can carry on. :D

I do like your thoughts about 13 pounds of ESI stuff.

Thanks for the info about not needing to remove the parts, if you are very careful, to apply that coating stuff as well.
