I just found a place online this weekend that does custom paint and is a little over an hour away from me. I am going to go talk to them and see what they might be able to come up with for my yellow Spyder. After seeing a few others, it may not be yellow for much longer.

No more airbox/oil/stuff to worry about. plus it makes it so much easier to work on the rest of the stuff.



I actually love the intake sound. Kinda reminds me of being on the Busa

Put a nice little 20 mile ryde in earlier today. I can tell my fuel mileage will be lower because I love the sound of the intake when I hammer on it. Oh well, its a give and take thing...LOL

NMN HID's...let there be light

Finally got thru my Gremlins and the HID'sare up and running. Thanks to NMN, Doc and Joe for all of the help. It only took me 3 days...LOL
What a difference in the 2 pics, plus I really like the blue/white tint to the light

yeah, that is a nice set up. I did the same thing running the 8k bulbs... :doorag:

They look great but it is more of a safety mod... now i can see better and cars can see me.. trust me they do..

Took about a half hour. 4 body panels and the center y panel, 2 hoses and 6 bolts. If you have a good relationship with your dealer/mechanic, its no problem. Just keep your airbox in case. Easy to put it back on for warranty issues, but this filters better than the "stock" filter element does.

Hello dave01,

Are the hids brighter than the factory lights? If they are brighter is the cost vs increase rider safety worth the expense? Or is this modification more a taste preference?
