• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey everyone! I just picked up my 2014 ST Limited yesterday and took it out for a nice little 70 mile jaunt today through the greater NE Connecticut areas (Woodstock, Pomfret, Hampton, Canterbury and Eastford areas). I saw 2 fellow spyders in my travels and about a billion other 2 wheelers (including my travel partner on his Triumph). What a great day for a ride!! I wasn't sure how the transition was going to be from 2 wheels to 3, but after a few initial pointers from the partner, I think I'm getting the hang of it!!! (he tells me I needed to lean more, a 1 degree lean won't get me much!! haha).

Now I just need to keep my fingers crossed for about 3 more months of this kind of weather!!

LOL... I'm more of a ride it a little bit like your grandmother is on the back sorta girl!! I'm getting more adventurous though. I'm hoping one day soon I'll find the 5th gear! haha... Fortunately where we live is very rural and you can go a lot of different places without highways. From the sea coast to the mountains in a couple hours either way.

This is it, absolutely no mods at yet, unless one considers adding gas a mod! My fiance was trying to help me figure it out yesterday, and as you can tell the dogs didn't care. He's been riding quads, snowmobiles, motorcycles, trucks, etc since he was about 5.

Welcome..!! Welcome..!!

to the spyder world and this someties confusing site..:joke:congrats on your fine new ryde..:2thumbs: enjoy..!!

Every 100 miles you will hit a new phase
At 2000 miles I finally can use cruise control, relax a bit, not feel shakey first 15 miles or so.
Those were all issues I had at first after 50 years on two wheels!

Man I cant believe how much the 2000 mile self taught winter training course in central Fla helped!

Hope we get to go again this winter

An ATV and Snowmobile background is a definite plus!
Last year, the Missus and I rode to your end of the State... We went to Groton, to visit the Submarine Museum. It was a great ride, and an even greater place to visit!
Take your time getting acquainted with the Bike; you can't rush perfection! :D

Congrats! You picked a good one! The st is a lot of fun to ride and everyone knows they look the best:clap: I very rarely lean in corners it just doesn't seem to help that much and the nanny will cut you off at some point anyway
