• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I can't help but think how STUPID some people are

Hostess Employees have not only striked their way out of a job, they have striked themselves out of
medical coverage and pay checks..... plus we will have to go with out all the yummy stuff they used to make
well now they can go home sit on the couch watch day time TV collect unemployment... hope they enjoy it.

as a big man, I can say I spent many a summer with hostess products,lol. All jokes aside it just reminds me more that all of the things I grew up with are being bought out, torn down, or going out of business. My baby will know nothing of the world I grew up in. I guess that will be good and bad...
 
but the young that grow up in these times will accept this as the norm.. as they never got to experience the world as some of us had.. my MoM at 89 , says she grew up in the best of times.. hardships included,,,
 
Tasty Cakes isn't the point. This is another company that's being shut down due to unfair trade practices. On the flip side, I guess more 12 yr old Asian girls will have more work.

Higher wages for management pay ( because they have to make more than their union counter parts )
40 hour work weeks.
Weekends off.

No, the lobbyist that promote child labor in Asian countries for pennies on the dollar is what shuts down this country.
 
Before this gets pulled for being too controversial and political I have to bid my farewell to Suzy Q's and CupCakes. I shook many a vending machine to get my Suzy Q's. They were my breakfast food when I was in my 20s.

Chapter 11 should allow them to reorganize their debt, eliminating most, and restructure an operating plan to go forward. If they go into Chapter 7 liquidation, then you can kiss your twinkies goodbye.
