• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My last mod today-Battery

Have you had problems? Why more amperage?

(I know... just because). :D

I do have a draw somewhere that I can't pin down. It's not much but it will take the battery down if I don't watch it. I like leaving my LED's, GPS and XM on even when the Spyder is not running and this gives me that much more battery storage.

Gotcha.

Will this trickle take the batery down?

Hey Lamonster?

I have a Pyle marine radio with wired remote. Both have an LCD screen that dims but is always on. What are the odds that it will take the battery down?

Thanks in advance-

Ok, so here is the final install. Not easy finding a place to stuff all of the wires not to mention 18 feet of remote extension cable that cannot be cut because it contains 10 individually wrapped wires! The placement of the speakers does leave some of the sound behind (moving forward) but I am going to install half moon baffles, about an inch high along the lower half of the speakers to "redirect" the sound- At this point, the power lead is unswitched but there is only the LED readout on the main display and I have not found the minimal draw to be a problem.

I would love to have speakers on the bike!! Is that something that best buy would be able to hook up?

ps-I love the placement mount for the speakers, looks awesome!

thanks,
Brandon

Lamont, can you tell us where and what parts you used for the "Oil Catch can" in you video?

This seems like an easy terrific mod!

Thanks!
