• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Initial Impressions of The 2018

Sorry to annoy you Bob:shocked: You could have answered the question in the time it took you to be snarky.:lecturef_smilie:

I didn’t take it that way at all and there’s been nothing in his prior posts to suggest he has that attitude. Such is the interpretation of alpha characters on a boatd.

Let's let the "snarky thing" drop; okay?
We seem to have a foglight bulb solution!
There was about a 1mm difference in the two connectors.
With a little bit of "adjusting": Paydirt!! :2thumbs:

Shouldnt have inserted myself, apologies to you and Pegasus both.

Glad you got the fog lights sorted out!

It still looks the same; I can't say anything about the quality of the materials that they used to make tit. :dontknow:

I've got noboot's arm on my 2014. First thing I did, after having broken two of them on my 2010. I think I'll just keep the 2014 RT until BRP upgrades that piece.

I don't know where I have been since you posted these pics, Bob. Must have been sleeping . . . . So :congrats: and thanks for the pics. I can't wait for your ride report.

Congrats Bob!

I use the Lamonster IPS key holder, that would be cool if you could get one in Gold or if you had the key done in that satin gold............so jealous of your ride.

Please post more pics when you can...To the point where we ask you not to post anymore photos. We need to feel numb and use to the overexposure of such a beautiful machine:ohyea:...................This is a safety concern for us that will rubber neck and possibly have an

accident when we see you pass us on the road:D

I do have a pair in Gold... :D

The Missus and I took a ride to the dealership this morning. It was time to sign a bunch of paperwork, and take a bunch of pictures!:yes::yes:
I came away with some pretty positive first impressions

The new foam grips are comfy
he new dash is PLENTY visible!
The smoked headlight and foglight covers are AWESOME!
The rear storge compartment still has a 12 volt power port in it.
The USB plug is up in the frunk
The Parking brake switch has been moved...
...as has the mode switch
And the Set switch has gone!
(You just push in on the end of the joystick!
The rear air suspension is now completely self-adjusting: no more buttons for it!
The windshield support bracket is now blacked-out
I don't think that you get any luggage with the bike... WTH! :dontknow:
The Gold pieces have a very satin finish to them. (I might like it a bit more "Goldy")
The six-speaker stereo system ROCKS!! VERY crisp, and lots of volume.
( I tested it with some "Iron Man", and "Zombie Stomp"!)
It even has a left-right balance this year, in addition to the front-rear fader.
Pulling error codes is no longer like a "secret handshake". There's an item on the menu for it.

it's too bad that the SpyderCodes app has been deemed unnecessary and bared from BRP connect.
But that's just sour grapes on my part.

Bob did you keep your Ultimate seat to install on your new bike?I just put the stock seat back on my 2015 RT-S and forgot how cheap it was.
