• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Hydro-dipped RT Parts

You can get pretty creative with this process; here's my buddy's Grizzly, after he had the bodywork dipped...

That is so neat. What does something like that cost and what do you look for when looking for some one to do it?

If you google Hydro-dippers you should find someone in your area.My guy Sims Designs has a web site and is on Facebook. You can also ship parts to most dippers included my dipper.I had him dip parts last year for my Honda F6B which also came out really nice. The glove box cover was around $100 which includes the dipping of whatever design you pick out, a few coats of clear coat and also air brushing the edges so there are no lines. The wind deflectors were around $30 each which were dipped on both sides but I am not sure its needed but I got it done anyway.

No, I have no idea what goes over it to protect it. I just found this info a few hours ago.

It is clear coated to protect it.

My response was to doing it yourself...as w anything...experience is king.

I don't ask the neighborhood kid to cut my grass...he misses too much...nor do I ask him to wax my car...nor do i ask him to re-dye my leather seats....nor do I ask him to paint my car...nor do i ask him to.....you get my point?

I just find it funny some things that people think they can do themselves...I'm all about doing things yourself to save money..but some things are better left to the professionals. :)

Nice, I've got a few parts I'm having dipped as well once I find some time to remove them.

The guy who can do this for me is 15 minutes down the road. :D

Forgot to post pics when I had this done a couple weeks ago. :D

This is the piece under the windshield. Main challenge was getting the graphics to flow opposite directions. In doing so, I also had each mirror flow off in their own direction. Looks great in person.
