• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My husband is still my best Spyder Accessory

I have been working a lot of hours lately. Most of this week I worked either until 3:00am or a 24 hour shift. When I woke up Friday morning, I couldn't find bjt anywhere. It was only 9:00a.m. and he works 2nd shift so I was a bit confused. I went out into the garage and there he was just finishing putting my spyder back together. He had installed my very own HID's from NoMagicNeon for me. I had driven his and ridden behind him and I knew they were a much better light. That was so great of him, so last night or should I say very early this morning (3:30am) I got to do a real test drive of my own HID's. WOW, what a difference. The light is whiter and brighter and goes farther. We have a lot of deer and wildlife out by our house and I am sure this is going to help tremendously. Thank you again to Evan of NoMagicNeon, keep up the good work. Now just a warning to you all, here is where I get mushy. Thank you to my wonderful husband, I love you and appreciate all you do for me.

Mine too

My husband is also my best accessory! I have no idea:2thumbs: how many hours he has spent putting mods on my :spyder:. Right now he is looking at wrapping the exhaust. Thank you jnt. I love you, you are the best! :2thumbs:

Let the "Appreciation" continue. RocketMan has done so much to my Spyder to make me feel safer and more confortable. After a day of riding yesterday with a friend, and some complaining about the heat to my left leg, he is wrapping my exhaust pipe tomorrow. Although I am capable of checking tire pressure, fluids, cleaning, he does it for me . That's what love is all about.....tomorrow is our anniversary !

Same here! He takes the time to make sure I know how to check oil, pressure, etc. but he always does it for me too! He served as my windshield for thousands of miles while I rode on the back and now he takes care of me while I get to be the "captain of my own universe" as I like to call it!:2thumbs::clap:

Let me add thoughts about my hubby, too! He was as excited as I was when I made the decision to buy the Spyder. Since we've gotten her home, he has added a CB/radio, gotten a higher windshield and the risers for the handlebars, added fog lights, and wired in the most beautiful blue lights. He's the best!

I am bringing this thread back to the top because I am seeing a lot more "wife" ryders out there. I know many of the woman on this forum are perfectly capable of doing these mods and wrenching for themselves and to those women, I applaud you. But I just want to recognize the men in our lives that help us as well. I have been blessed with a husband that has patience with me and ability to handle all my "fixes" and help with my mods, even when I am trying to do them myself.

I want one, but Im still in the "talking hubby into one" stage. :chat:

He said that if I get any type of bike, it would be a spyder. He said he dont trust me on anything else. HAHAHA Although, when I get one... hes not allowed to drive it. Its going to be mine. :ohyea::roflblack:
We were suppose to go test drive them today, but I got called into work.

I dont get O.T. at my work. We part timers never get over time. I need a job that pays more, although I am greatful that I have a job at the moment.

Hey Brad, I hope I didn't offend anyone, it was just how it read to me at first. I kind of laughed. You are right about one thing, it is tough to leave this crowd speechless.
