• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I want to share with you all the outcome of what I call project GS-R.
It all started with just wanting to personalize my Sypder a little bit .. and it turned into many many hours of fun and great times with friends.

pals.JPG
1. It started by talking all Tupperware off and to the painters

  1. All top panels painted in flat back
  2. All side panels painted in silver (I think is one of BRPs smartest color)
  3. Upper suspension arm covers in silver
  4. Sport rack and lid in flat black

2. Then all metal parts got powder coated

  1. Front wheels
  2. Rear wheel and more
  3. Handlebar cover
  4. Hindle exhaust and heat shields
  5. Passenger and rider pegs

3. Then some performance enhancements

  1. Ceramic coated all exhaust pipes.. this also helped with the head transfer to the rider
  2. BajaRon spark plug wires
  3. New NGK platinum plugs
  4. Already had : the O2 censor eliminator + 2011 RT shocks + K&N air filter

4. Then some dressing up

  1. Carbon fiber CAN-AM and Spyder (tail) decals
  2. GS-R decal for the front, rear, and many more places
  3. Carbon fiber wrapped the Sport windshield and the top portion where the safety card slides into
  4. Carbon fiber inserts for the Handlebar cover

My GS-R part II

when all it was done, the next day I took the bike in a fuel and food only stops from Miami to Lamonster BBQ (900 miles ride). Then, for further testing, went riding at the Tail of the Dragon. All came together as planned and all thanks to a great friend and riding pal.

That is one good looking bike!! I enjoyed riding with you and the rest of the crew at the BBQ, and "Thanks again" for thr Farmers Daughter.

"GS-R decal for the front, rear, and many more places"....

Who did the decals for this?...Pete at Powersportswrap?

The decals came from a local shop.. I have purchased a few items from powersports, and Pete is great to deal with

Pleasure was all mine.. it was a great ride, with great new friends, and wonderful dinner. I think the Farmer's Daughter likes Spyder riders :D:D

Looks good without fender. The black out look is very close to my RSS.

By eliminating the rear fender, the beautiful rear wheel gets to be displayed for the world to admire ..:roflblack:
The only bad part, is that when a few drops of rain start to come down, my riding pals send me immediately to the end of the line..

on the air

Found this great lift for the spyder during biketober fest in Daytona.. we will get to test it once it gets delivered.. will share details after using it
