This month will mark my first official year of riding my Spyder ( never road before ).
What have I learned / experienced...
Starting out was the initial shock of seeing the road right at my feet. Although the stability of the Spyder was comforting ( bought the Spyder without test ryding it...I knew I wanted one ), the feeling of the rushing air, coupled with seeing pavement right at my feet, took a little while to get over. Now, one year later, I love it all!!
The friendships both old and new which come from ryding is priceless. Through facebook, I hooked up with an old highschool buddy, which in turn welcomed me into his group of riders ( all Harleys and a couple sport bikes ).. I am now a " MOB " member
. Together we have traveled all around MD, VA, WVA, and PA., and more adventures to come
This site  The members on Spyderlovers are second to none. Everyone is willing to share their knowledge in both ryding ( for newbies like me when I first started ) and their skills of the in's and out's of the Spyder itself. I have yet to see someone ask a question, that is not bombarded with suggestions, ideas, things to look for, and just about anything else to help out:bowdown: Of course we have our fun, and some of the comments on this board have brought me to near tears at times. You guys rock, and thank you for all your help this past year!!
And of course, the Rockstar!! effect :roflblack: .... it is never ending. There is not a day that I go out, that I am not stared at, waved at, cheered at, or answering questions from interested ryders.
Looking forward to more of it ALL !!
