• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, it was my first time to go camping with the Spyder or any motorcycle, this past weekend attending the 35th Annual TAG Fall Cave-In in North GA. Some how I managed to bring back more stuff than I took with me. Tent camped. Took a GoPro video from Trenton, GA South on GA 136 over the mountain to the Chevron station then back up the East side and back to the camp site via GA 157.
There were 1148 attending cavers at the event.

That's a great area with some twisty mountain riding. Pretty soon the colors up on Lookout Mountain Pkwy are going to be very impressive.

Next time you are in the Chattanooga area, let us know ahead and we'll meet up.

I made a weenie run to Trenton, GA. After purchasing some kosher weenies, I changed the batteries in my first generation GoPro cam. Then I videoed from there up GA 136 heading South. Over the mountain past GA 157 and down the other side till I got to the Chevron station where I turned around. Headed back up the mountain North bound on GA 136 then turned left on GA 157 headed South behind a Honda cycle. Several miles down this road I turned off onto Old State Road 198. Located off this road is the property where the TAG Cave-Ins are held.
Still videoing, I cruised through part of the site till I got to my camp site.

For this video, I didn't have the housing gasket in so the camera would pick up The Spyder's engine and the XM radio's music broadcast. Since I have my GoPro mounted on the dash, it was seeing through the windshield and all the cloud juice that was on the windshield, at times.

I'll be downloading my camera's card for some pix to share.

Here is a photo of one the campers sharing our campsite, Sally Mander.
DSC_1090s.jpgI was totally chillin' out, sitting around the campfire talking about the year's past
and some of the caving adventures we had some 20-30+ years ago. You know, back when I could fit through
a space less than seven inches with my clothes on pushing my helmet and light ahead of me.
So, I didn't take but a few photos....mostly of Sally.
DSC_1085s.jpgThis show an interesting piece of wood in the campfire. Notice the texture of the wood.
It's why I took some pix of this wood.
