• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

bummer-have to replace the whole house hvac system !! the system took a dive today and it isn't worth repairing. guess i'll have to bite the bullet. we will have to wait for spyderquest in ny for our first event. hope you all have a blast-i'll have to settle for reading about it on the forum !!:gaah::gaah::gaah:

Aren't budgets a horrible thing to have to contend with? Sorry to hear about your cancelled trip, but heat is more important...especially this year. There will be other Spyder events.

 Your house is probably the most important asset that you own; take good care of it!
But I DO feel your pain! :gaah:

Just did the same here but it's surgery for a tore rotator cuff that will be keeping me home. And yes, I will "feel my pain"! :)

did the rotator cuff thing a few years ago, tough re-hab but well worth it in the end. glad mine is only a monetary thing ! good luck with the procedure, you will be back out twisting the throttle in no time.

I fully sympathize. We had to cancel Spyderfest as well. Now we too have to look to Spyderquest for a gathering.

Will not be able to attend Spyderfest due to total knee replacement on March 31st. Not enough recovery time for rehab and healing. Darn!

Oh well I guess I am not the only one. Now planning the BRP owners event in Durango CO. Hoping there will be some venders there so I can add some farkels.

I can sympathize, not about going, but with the other things. Last summer, I had the double whammy...replaced the HVAC and had a SLAP tear and rotator cuff repair. Talk about a bad summer!

Here I thought I was the only one that was very dissapointed as I too had to cancel spyderfest this year. Had heart surgery this month and feeling good but my insurance will not cover me outside of Canada for 180 days after surgery so cannot take the chance having a heart attack in the U.S. with no insurance. This would have been our third year but there is always next year if I live that long ,LOL. Hope everyone has a great time which I know you will.

I hit the big 50 this year and WHAM! There goes my "Youth"!! My summer of riding is going to be GREATLY impaired...not a happy camper about that.
Guess I will be keeping my fingers crossed for Spyderfest 2015......

You're only as old as you act! Turning fifty means nothing at all. There are lots of us here that will attest to that.

PFFFTTT!
