Well one of the first mods I made on my Spyder was improving the turn signal indicator or as we here in the South call em, blinkers. It was difficult for me to tell when they were on so I bought a couple of 1/2" LED's and drilled holes for them in the mirror housings and wired them into the turn signals (blinkers). Only problem was I moved my handlebars and it blocked my view of my newly installed modification. So today I moved them to the top of the housings and used those plastic fasteners used in the automotive upholstery trade. I don't know what the real name for them is but my buddy called them plastic Christmas trees. They were smaller than the hole on the shank so I put a washer on the back and then cut off the excess. Looks like it came that way, so no worries
