• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wow! That is a real nice paint job...:2thumbs: Picking a favorite is almost impossible for me because I'm always wanting the one that I don't have!
Besides; everybody here had done their best to impress... picking one is like picking a favorite potato chip. They're all great!

I really like the look of this Spyder....but, I can't help but think of a Christmas tree bulb when I look at it.. :D

Great paint on this :spyder2:

Scotty That is a good thread and in that thread glynnk asked if there was away to mount the bags without relocating the turn signals and the answer is YES/NO
You see thanks to our vendors on this site ESI and TRICLED you could mount turn signals directly on your bags thanks to ESI and as for TRICLED you could purchase the highmount turn lights that sticks to your passenger grabbars which is higher than stock. Now for the no part i don't know what the law is in your state like if it is mandatory to have stalks for turn signals, maybe someone on here knows i do not.

That I saw today at Malcolm Smith Motorsports

This is your dealer wow i would love to meet Malcolm smith if he rode a spyder i would vote for him for an ambassador even thou we don't need one the bike speaks for it's self no disrespect toward anyone.

i dug around alittle and found the answer on the nysdmv website it does not mention having the turn signals on stalks. "Any 1985 or newer motorcycle must be equipped with directional or turn signals. Any motorcycle which was originally equipped with such signals, or to which such signals have been added, must have them inspected. Turn signals must show amber to the front and red or amber to the rear.":clap::clap:

I wonder how much, I wonder how many colors would be possible, with that finish, white would be sharp,

I did some research a while back, and if I remember correctly came up with a price tag of close to $10K. It comes in all kinds of colors and can be custom mixed as well.

I have been to his dealership about 5 to 6 times and have seen Malcolm once. Talked to his son several times, as he runs the service department. The one time I saw Malcolm (3/17/11) he posed for a photo with some guy as he walked into the dealership. He shook my hand and we made some small talk about my Spyder being dirty, and if it was a dealer unit. I have not washed my hand since

I love that colored-chrome-look paint. I'd love to see a Spyder done out in black-chrome. Most of the custom work I've seen has been pretty cool. However, there have been a few that, IMHO, well... maybe not so much.
