• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Cheap Gas Cap Cover

I didnt want a keyed gas cap because I didnt want to have to fiddle around with a locked gas cap every time I fuel up, after all, the starting procedure is long enough as it is. So I took a measurement and started looking around the garage and the house and came up with this cheap and easy solution to keep dirt and sand out of the filler spout. Florida has nothing but sand and it gets everywhere in these machines, including under the filler lids.

I know the 2021 models come with a locking gas cap, but the 19's & 20's didn't. Also, a lot of people on FB have been complaining about the new threaded gas cap on the 21's being difficult to remove, some think its vapor lock causing it to be difficult to unscrew (this one young lady carries a pair of channel locks in her frunk just for that reason). Many suggested to them to just leave the cap off. One lady tried my idea but she said that they changed the filler spout on the 21's and it wouldnt fit on her new machine. Anyway, thats a whole other subject.

Easy to use & 'make', functional, effective, and readily available?!? I like it!

Isn't it surprising how often the best ideas & solutions are the simplest & (apparently, but only in hind-sight :p ) the most obvious of things?! Good on you tho! Brilliant!! Congrats! :2thumbs:

The gas cap does not actually lock on the 2021's.I just bought one last night.

The ones they were talking about was locking (with a key) so, maybe one of the several keyed locking caps thats available. They also stated that the neck is threaded on the 2021's, my 2020 is not threaded, can you verify this with yours?

I am under the assumption the tank is sealed to prevent evaporation, could cause an error code. Best of luck. Looks plain and simple.
