• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I can't find the thread about the mirrors... This is what I did to mine and you can see
great to the sides in your blind spot...

Here's 2 threads on blind spot mirrors. I purchased blind spot mirrors from Amazon for about $6, which eliminate the blind spot.

Yes, I had one of those on my Rocket III, Tjranch, and it worked brilliantly. Like you, I never had an issue at any time of day with either sun reflection (that photo is taken from abdomen height….you are looking down on it when riding)….or forward blind spots. It’s not like a car rear view mirror which is at eye height. It is down at chest height or a bit lower, so you can still easily see beside you. I can only assume that those finding fault have never tried it, or even looked into it in detail before advising its failings…….humans are like that……me included 😆

Thanks for reminding me about it…….I’ll look at getting another one.

If you've ever made a lane change without looking, FOR GOD'S SAKE LOOK where you're going! Don't totally rely on that "blind spot mirror" because that car speeding up behind you can take that position in a split second, and then you're TOAST! The old bikers refer to it as the "Messerschmitt shuffle" that saved their butt many times. Get used to looking over your shoulder every time before you change lanes. Stay safe out there.

I agree completely, Mikey…..I always look over my shoulder before pulling out or changing lanes. But these blind spot mirrors just provide you with an extra surety. If you glance in the mirror and see a vehicle approaching, you simply stay in your lane, reducing the number of unnecessary shoulder glances, which can prove to be fatal when you take your eyes off the road ahead.
