• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Belt problem

I have the same vibration that everyone else has at the various speeds. What I have noticed and finally located the source is very pronounced roaring when under full acceleration in high gear when in the 55-60mph range. I finally found that noise is from the belt rubbing on the lower belt guard in front of the rear sprocket. My belt is tight enough to play a tune on it. The gap between the belt and the guard is about 3/4 of an inch. I can't for the life of me figure how it could possibly rub when it is so close to the sprocket. If it was rubbing near the center of the belt I would understand the flexing. Any ideas??? I don't think it is serious problem, but it could get worse later on. I can't see how belt could flex that much.

RUBBING

Hi, IMHO your belt is way to tight........Mine ( RT ) is less than spec by quite a bit.....( 185 lb on ground w/ Kritkit )... I have no vibes ......and I'm not the only one who has discovered this ODD occurrence. ......................Mike

Once the belt gets to dancing around under the spell of "Harmonic Vibrations": all bets are off!
There have been some videos shot of the effect (Finless posted one), and it's pretty startling!
