• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I mentioned to my wife that the AC on my bike broke today. It was 92degrees and its going to be upto 100+ by Friday. She took me so seriously... She then asked me when am I going to bring it to be fixed at the dealer...

I should give her some slack... after all she is 6months prego.

I don't care how hot it gets up here...(89 yesterday) The Spyder goes and the Jeep stays in the garage! I'm not waiting for "perfect" riding weather because any day that I can ride is already perfect!

I hope you didn't rub it in, when it took a while for her to catch on. :lecturef_smilie:

There is a reason I don't live in Florida...and this is it. I prefer outdoors to indoors, but not in this weather. Yesterday I washed the enclosed trailer and got soaked in the process. I jimmediately umped on the Spyder and hit the highway. Wow, did that feel good! Maybe Lamont was on to something when he hosed himself down. :roflblack:

Have them replace the missing grate on the right side too. :D

Here in the PNW, it has been creeping up to the low 70's all week. Our sons family lives in the UP of MI, and even that far north, with Lake Superior to keep things cool, it was and still is in the upper 90's. :dontknow: I hope things cool off for everyone.

We rode to Hollywood for the Spyder convention 2 years ago. Coming home at 4 in the afternoon thru Redding,CA the temp was 102 and RISING..we pulled over, just couldnt take it anymore.

:roflblack:wish mine had air conditioning...............101 today with 115 heat index:helpsmilie:. I think that the Spyder will stay in its den for awhile!:lecturef_smilie:

Heat index in D.C. this Friday will be 116.

1-1-6. WITH our humidity. :gaah:

There's just no way I can ride in this. My comfort cut-off is 90, 95 in an emergency. I know others are braver, but not I.

Can't wait until autumn. Can't. Wait. :(

I'm with you there!!! Tomorrow is going to be 102 with heat index of 114 or more!!!! And it's humid!!!! :yikes::yikes:

I have asthma, so any outside in this muck is NOT good for me anyway!!! Had the car window down on the way home from work. Felt like I was driving through a furnace!!!

I was out Sunday and the Spyder displayed 93F to 104F. Not too bad while I was moving. Of course the humidity was about 10%. This is the desert after all. I was testing out my install of the air management system from Spyderpops. It helps a lot but hot is still hot. I was happy to see that my temp never got above 5 bars. Just sat on the 5 both in town and on the highway. Somewhere in that 5 bar range the fan kicks in and out regularly. Looks like my :spyder2: handles the heat pretty well. :D

We'll be writing our riding posts to ya'll in November, December, January, February and March. :2thumbs:

Have you noticed that the Spyder ONLY displays even number tempertures?

I've seen it fluctuate between only even digits on some days. Odd.
