• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My 25 Cent GPS

Picked mine up today after the heat modification recall, that was my ride

I have a 2013 RT, it does sound different but not louder. Clawson Motorsports in Fresno did the work and it was well done. It does run cooler, and the two scoops look very good. Last fall i removed the catalytic convertor, and thermowrapped the headers. I also got an oil change, and switched the back tire to a Kumho 225/50 R15. Here in the valley it is hot, at 1PM 98 degrees. For the 50 mile ride home the temperature was just under middle of the scale, when i got home the radiator fan ran briefly. I checked the glove compartment and it was just warm, and the gas cap was also just warm not hot. It ran fine, and in general i think under the seat it is a lot cooler. I came back on the freeway at about 80 so it was a pretty fair test. I really can't tell if the mileage is better but we will find out August when we go to Eureka for SITR, about 400 miles. I did notice but don't believe it is of any consequence, that there is a lot of heat that comes back out of the scoops when you stop.

I take a piece of stiff card stock (she didn't really need those Thank You cards, did she?), write down my notes and then tape it to the plastic slider. When I need a reminder, just pull out the slider and read my notes!
That's where I keep Miss July...:D
Sometimes: I forget to go for the ride. I just sit, and stare...

Still trying to figure out how to start my Spyder without pulling out the card and reading it first. Unable to find this in the owners manual. HELP!

You have to do the "special" key walk around. You must remove key and go out from your spyder at least fifty feet. You must walk the circle seven times (same as at battle of Jericho). It also helps if you are playing the bagpipes.

Please don't get me into trouble by sharing this secret to less than "senior" members. :roflblack::roflblack:

paint or lights ?

great idea...I was using it as a sun shade for the screen when ryding with the sun to my back..now I have two uses for the flip chart...:roflblack::roflblack:

Love the pic of your bike-- are those lights or paint on the panels ?

And now for the real truth. The credit has to go to my co-pilot / best friend / wifey poo. She simply pulls out the card one day, stares at it for a moment and says "Why can't you just tape something on here to write on". I love it / hate it when she does that.

Well, back to my trigonometry tables and checking coefficients of thermal expansion (sigh).

Ah... You need to make sure the card stock doesn't get stuck in there or you may not be able to start your Spyder. :roflblack:

Thanks..!!

The panels are pinstriped but when I reduced the picture size they became spotted looking like lights..:roflblack: strange..here it is full size...
