• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Set my brand new 2011 RTS front suspension at 4 and tires at 20 PSI. It out performs my GS hands down. Will run off and leave it in the tight twisties. And still smooth on the highway.

Did you ever get a chance to ride a 2010 RTS, and if so how is your 2011 compaired to a 2010 RTS? :dontknow:

Sounds like BRP might have made the imporvements to the RTS's ride we all have been asking for.

With your suspension at 4 with 20 psi in front tires...1) what psi in the rear tire? 2) Is a 4 a firmer or softer ride?

I have one on order and am trying to learn all I can from you folks before I get it...

I left the Rear tire at factory owners manual specs. The number four setting would be on a acale of 1 to five with five being the stiffest setting.

I did ride a 2010 and it was a lot more mushy but it was not set up at 4 it was set at 3. However they had a left over 1010 sitting right next to the 11s and you could tell a difference just by sittyng on them and rocking side to side. The 2010 would rock farther and with less force than the 2011.

I don't have my RT yet, what does the manual say? Do others use different settings other than the manual?

George,
I run my front shocks at 5 (Bruce at STS set them that way when I picked it up). Front tires are at 18 (I tried them at 20 but prefer 18). I run the rear airbag at 3 when riding solo and 4-5 when riding two-up... happy with the handling now that my DPS has been exchanged.. these settings seem to make a good balance for my riding style in the twisties around this area..
