• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

All day, on my long ride I would go to start the Spyder and it took several attemps by turning the key to the on/off position to start the bike. I thought I was the problem, but not sure now.

I was always able to turn key/ wait a few seconds and start it right up in 1st gear with clutch in or "N" Last summer! ... now there seems to be no exactness to it. Or am I being a "blank" :opps:

Thanks again for all your help or explanation... I think not to long ago someone posted a similar issue, but I couldn't find it..

Had a friends spyder kill switch went bad....if I'm not mistaken....they were having the same symptoms before the switch went completely bad.

Hard to say..!!

Not much to go on. Is it cranking but not starting..?? Are you getting all lights but only a click when you hit the starter button..?? Are you getting any codes..?? There is the lenghth of time between starts. You have to press the mode button if stopped for a while before it will start. On short stops you can start right away without pressing the mode button. If not could be the ignition switch gone bad or the kill switch gone bad if you use it. Let us know what you find...:gaah:
