Mufflers

I am looking for another muffler for my Spyder... Will getting a new muffler void any part of the warranty and if so are there any that will be covered under the Spyder warranty. I am not looking for anything that can be heard for three city blocks, just something a little more sound to it.

Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act BRP or a dealer would have to prove that a third party muffler directly caused the malfunction on your Spyder in order to deny a warranty claim. BRP sells the Akrapovic sport muffler(s) as approved aftermarket accessories. Don't know for sure but I assume there is a separate warranty period for those mufflers that BRP would cover during the period for which the muffler is warranted, but would not tack it onto the overall vehicle warranty. JMO.
