There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. mud flap for ST Limited

I'm looking for a mud flap for the back wheel of my Can Am ST Limited. Does the RT models fit on the ST?

Most Ive looked into on that would be the flap that goes on trailer hitch fyi. The ST rear fender covers enough IMHO.

made one

I had a piece of 1/8 inch ABS plastic.
Shaped it to fit and used some SS bolts and Star washers to attach it to the existing fender .
Flap is long enough to keep the slope off the trailer hitch.

Don't believe so....

The ST has the same fender set up as the RS/RSS/GS and is different than the RT. As mentioned they work well and don't need an extention unless you have a hitch in which case there are sponsors here with solutions...

Yes we have mudflaps

We have an advertiser/ sponcer on here that sells great mudflaps! I put one on my 2015 RT Limited. It's "Don't eat the mud". Mine was about $35.00 and 20 minutes to install.:2thumbs:

I have the ST-L and just IMO... I think there is pretty good tire coverage there...same with the front tires. If I were to add... I would probably use the trailer hitch flap setup. +: with the license plate on...it adds even a little more coverage.

I posted a thread a while back asking the same question. There are no options for a mud flap without making your own. My wife complains that my spyder throws a lot of rocks and she will not ride behind me.

They do not offer mud flaps for an ST. I checked.

So does the mud flap go on the top or bottom? Does the open top spray the passenger in the rain?

I don't see any real difficulty with making one it's just a matter of choosing your product and forming it. Start off with a piece of cardboard to make a pattern and go from there. A simple one could be a piece of rubber inner tube.

I have an RT Limited, and live on a dirt road, so I felt I needed a mud flap. I went to Pep Boy (but think any auto parts store would have the same thing) and purchased a mud flap by Road Sport, 10" x 17.5" that is shaped for a rear wheel opening, and cut off the curved area and bolted it to the lower part of the rear fender. Works good for me.

You have to look close, but the flap does show up at the bottom of the fender. Sorry it is sideways, I haven't learned the trick to post the pictures so they are right side up.
