• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mr. White

Mr. Cognac was severely injured in an accident March 10. His insurance agent determined him to be a total wreak March 15, 2018. RIP Cognac.

:spyder2:

Very sad to hear of Mr Cognac's demise, what on earth happened? :dontknow:

Buuut, as others have said & of course, much more importantly, how is Mr Cognac's Ryder? And we need the true story here, not just the standard 'Ohh, I'm going OK for an old bloke!' :lecturef_smilie:

Forget the bike: your Wife can always take on another shift at the plant, and replace it for you! :joke:
We just want to make sure that YOU are okay.:pray:

O my gosh George you scared us almost to death don't do that. I know Mr, Cognac is your Spyder but we associate the two of you. So glad we are not hearing about you. Are you alright? Your injuries? I am okay. Lots of road rash but no broken bones and head is okay due to helmet. Ten of us were on our usual Saturday ride in a line. I was bring up the rear with my CB talking to the lead as usual. Two cars got between me and my friend in front of me. The lead turned and slowed down, my buddy turned but had to stop and I could not see him due to the cars in front of me. I started my turn, running 10-15 mph, the cars went straight and I was on him too quickly. Mr. Cognac hit him, totaled Cognac but his F3 is repairable. I have been riding with him for 25 years. He took it well. Fourteen of us had breakfast yesterday, they rode, I drove.

I went off head first, hitting the pavement face first. My helmet saved me!! I did drive my glasses into my forehead with 11 stitches, road rash on left arm and hand even though I had my protective jacket on. I am getting better each day although still sore in places.

I went over to my dealer, Coyote Powersports of Boerne, TX to see Mr. Cognac and see what they had in the way of replacement scoots. This was last Tuesday, the 13th. Immediate problems came up. He had many 2018 RT-L but NO RED!! Then the tech said NO CBs FOR 18's, ie. no CB harness available. The dealer, a friend, said I only have a 2017 RT-S left. It is white and we can transfer your CB, GPS etc to it and I will give you all rebates and my cost. SOLD. I think I saved about $6K and that buys a lot of gas and insurance. Oh, Progressive treated me right, scoot, helmet, jacket, etc. I will pick up Mr. White this week after the tech puts the junk on him. I am happy with Mr. White which I hope is my last scoot.

You ask, What did your wife of 59 years say.....?? She said she was sorry I crashed Mr. Cognac and could not get a red 2018 but she will have it painted red for my 86th birthday. Ya can't beat that! Pics soon.

Oh, I have my Wing to ride but my left hand is buggered up some and I can't clutch real well yet. Thanks to all you Spyders wishing me well. George

Dam that was a lot worse than I thought.

Glad you made it thru it ok.

Take your time and heal up before you jump on a Spyder again.
