• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

40ish as well, but got 44 plus on two tanks last weekend riding 2-up

40 ish. Lower at higher speeds ( 75+) 6.9 gallions ( if you fill it to the brim) 250 miles should be ok at a reasonable pace.

Kaos

Riding in the mountains over last weekend stretched two tanks to 225 miles plus and only put around 5 gals in at fill-up. Both tanks only had about 50 miles of the total on the interstate, and speed in the twisties was usually 40's 50's. Speed does make a difference as well as wind direction!

Just like an aeroplanenojoke.

MPG over 6,000 miles

Just got back from a 6,000 mile trip on our 2015 RT Limited which included Key West, Washington DC, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Tail of the Dragon. We averaged 35 MPG for the trip while pulling a trailer and riding double up. This is a significant improvement over our 2012 RT where we would be lucky to get 25 MPG.

Graph of MPG

The graph below illustrates the difficulty of accurately assessing gas mileage. It shows my tank by tank mpg to date for my 2014 RTS beginning shortly after I started riding it this past spring.

MPG and range are totally dependent on a variety of factors, so it's really hard to say my bike get X mpg or goes X miles on a tank of fuel. My Spyder has done a low of 23 mpg and a high of 50 mpg and both figures were totally dependent on the riding conditions at the time. ;)
