There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I am moving to Georgetown Texas within a couple weeks. Does anyone in Texas have experience with the dealer near there on I-35?

Or any recommended dealers within riding distance of Georgetown?

Thanks.

I live in Pflugerville and bought my 2009 GS/RS SE5 used from Central Texas PowerSports of Georgetown....

I have had pretty good service from them and if you are looking for a sales person Richard is the name of the salesman that sold me mine. They are a family owned business.

There is an Austin dealer I recommend avoiding named Woods Fun Center off IH 35.

Moving to Georgetown texas

There is Woods in Austin and Kens motorsport in San Antonio both on I-35

Georgetown

CTPS is ok there just very very high on service, there basic oil change at 9k was 250 plus oil , ouch , the guys in Granbury was 89.00 for the same service, I guess city people got more money then us in the Country.

I bought mine at CT Power Sports and get it serviced there. I bought the service plan with the Spyder. I have talked to several people on other bikes that would rather make the drive from the New Braunfels area to deal with them over the local dealers Woods and Kent. The Staff is great and I have not had any issues.

CTPS

Melvin and Billy both work very hard and are a pleasure to deal with. i too bought mine there from Richard, got the Pit Pass, and have had mine serviced there since new April 2012. My only gripe is having to drive across Austin to get to them. but $89 oil changes in granbury?

hey the guys in grandbury are awesome they will go over the top for you and yes there fees are very reasonable i called them up when i was ready to have all the chrome installed and i said how long will it take he said let me get with my tech and i'll call you back next day got call 4hrs @90per,i said ok done deal make me a appointment got there gave them all the stuff i was there for 6hrs+ and when the mech was about to install the brake pedal he was ready to give up i had to get them to watch lamonts video as he was thinking he needed special tools not! so soon after he finally finished but heres the good part even though it took way longer they only charged me 4hrs labor as quoted, mgr said not your fault it took longer it was the techs problem and i also now that they will go out of there way if you need something from them like donations for fundraisers etc...the only thing that i really don't like is they will not allow you in the back to just watch and check out the spyder.they said liability issue and i can understand that.they did bring me back there just to show me what they had to do to put the handle bars on. after seeing that i new right then and there i would of never been able to do it.so if your really looking for good service and don't mind the drive i say go to them.jmo service with a smile means alot these days.plus knowing what there doing.

Can't add anything about dealers, but would like to say a hearty welcome to Texas.

Thanks Don.

And there is a lot of country to explore down there so a ride for a cheap service might be just the thing. I am glad I have a close dealer just in case. If they are a bit expensive but honest and competent I have matured enough with my Spyder to accept that as a blessing. That is until they notice the turbo and the Power Commander and throw up their hands, scream, and run away. LOL
