• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Moving to Florida

Headed to Florida sometime around September, October, 2018. New Smyrna Beach, just below Daytona. Will need to find a new dealer. Service is a top priority. And getting car tires mounted is another big plus. I can get the fronts off. The rear, no. Tom :spyder:

Central Florida Powersports in Kissimmee is only 1.5 hours away from New Smyrna Beach. Call ahead and ask for Kenny Butler. They will take care of you. I drive 250 miles from Southern Miami-Dade County to have important work done. At last visit I had them replace my rear tire with a Kumho Ecsta which they stock.

Sounds like a good one. Thanks. Tom :spyder:

1st question I was going to ask thanks Mike. Do you have a layout and is it portable or will you get to start over again?

Already have the layout broken down. Room in the new house will be limited. Thankfully we can scale it down. Had it set up on folding tables, with styrofoam sheets. Have no idea yet what we will do. :dontknow: Tom :spyder:

It will stay Mushu. We will only be an hour from Disney World. :ohyea: Tom :spyder:

You will miss the snow

Congrats on your pending move to the Sunshine State.

I bet you will miss that dreadful snow for about 5 minutes as someone from PA tells you how bad it is. I would love to move someone warm for the winter months - not overly fond of FL especially not enough for full time.

I'll also put in a good word For Central Florida Powersports. Kenny Butler is a spyder ryder and a great guy. He takes the time to show and explain to you what he's doing.
Hans is the new Service Manager. He used to be a service advisor. Another great guy to deal with.
Bonus is that they stock and install car tires on your spyder.

Enjoy Florida.

Tom,
Let us know if you're coming this way on a weekend: Kathy & I would love to take you & Ali up to Roscoe for a meal...

Thank you for the update. I was not aware that Chris had been moved into the office to handle Finance. Hans Sandoval has been promoted to Service Mgr. and Kenny Butler is a very competent, and owner friendly, Spyder Tech.
