• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Moving from Goldwing to Rt

Talking to Fred Rau (motorcycle journalist) at the Owners Event he told me that on average 400 Goldwings are traded in on a Spyder a month  :yes::yes:
I stopped at the local Honda dealer today to show him my 2013 RT. We talked about trikes. He says the Spyder is a lot better handling than conventional trike. They don't do conversions, nor service the trike part of Goldwings, so he had nothing to defend in that arena. I asked about the 400 number. He said could be, but Honda sells about 200,000 Goldwings a year so no big deal. Plus, the 'wings that are being traded in have already been sold by Honda! I think the conversion kit manufacturers are going to feel Spyder impact a whole lot more than Honda. He wasn't aware of the R18 conversion from Holland.

R18

WasWinger,

Is the R18 the 2-front 1-rear wing trike conversion? Because I diligently tried 2 separate wing trike conversions before deciding on the Spyder I would have been very interested in trying the R18 (if I'm remembering correctly what it is) before buying my Spyder.
