• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Moving from Cape Cod to

CapeSpyder

New member
Rotonda West, Fl I will be driving the household stuff down on the 28th, but have to fly back for the spyder. I will be going south on either the 3rd or the 10th
looks like i'll take about 3 days to do the journey.
All ready bumped into a spyder ryder from englewood while i was there looking for a place.
Should be a good trip, if the weather is nice i might have to extend the ryde a bit and go south via the Dragon.

Take the Cherahola Skyway!
The Dragon is 25 minute ride with people buzzing all around.
The Skyway is a dream come true!

For me, I have always done them both together. The only exception was in June of 2015. Started on the Cherahola, but one of the guys had a wreck about 3/4 of the way through. Started to rain as we waited for the ambulance. We decided to call it a day and try the dragon the following day. On that day, another from our group had a wreck on the Dragon. That night we ate at an Italian place in Maggie Valley and I got food poisoning. And the hotel we stayed in (although rated very high, and appeared clean) had bed bugs. Worst trip ever, but that is why we go every year. Always trying to top the previous year.

Maggie Valley has awesome MC museum but never spent night
Cherahola is awesome
Dragon is to say we did it (10 times so far

DO NOT

DO NOT take US 95....
BEST BET is US 81... from the Cape, you'll go 495, to 90, to 84, to Scranton, PA, pick up US 81 south, then when you get to NC, you can either take US 77 or RT 26 to head to your final destination.... I've done this dozens of times and it the ONLY way to go... ya, you'll hit traffic, but nothing even close to what you'll hit on 95....
good luck, drive safely, and enjoy the ride....
