• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Move Handle Bars down and Back a Inch or Two 2018 RTL???

Hi
Any suggestions on moving the handle bars back and down a inch or two. Moving it back only would be a option. Would like to use a riser or any inexpensive way as I’m trading it this winter for a 2021 RT

Short answer, nope. The only way to move the bars on a PRE 2020 RT is to install the Tri Axis bars. About $600 for the bars and another $400 for labor. No other way to change the bars position. Sorry. :(

:agree:

I just installed the Tri-Axis bars a few weeks ago on my wife's '17 RT-S. Had to take a LOT of Tupperware off, so I took advantage of the situation to install a home-made bracket for the J&M CB and XM radios. Doing both at the same time made it interesting. Let's just say that I would NOT want to pay shop rates to do that job.

I think the book shows (3) hours to install Tri Axis bars. The dealerships around me seem to charge 2-2.5 hours.

took me about 6 hours for Tri Axis bars, but I was a newbie and it was the first time removing mirrors. took me forever. YMMV
