Mounting left fender

Any tricks to getting the left fender to mount straight? I get the two front bolts to almost tight and when I tighten the two rear the front part is pulled inward and is no longer completely over the tire.

Now I just went out to get some pics and tightened the rear two and then the front and it looks OK. Going to have to check it out tomorrow.

This is kinda what it looked like with the fender off center.

Little checking..!!

check to see if framework supporting fender is off. With no further information as to why your doing this at all, modifying, new used etc. Youmay have to tweak the frame to get it on straight.. Good luck...:thumbup:

What's weird is I went back to take pictures and tightened two rear mounting bolts and it seemed to look good so then I tightened the front ones and it stayed that way. I can't tell you what was going wrong or what was weird but it looks good now.

Good idea to tighten bolts in a crisscross pattern. Glad you got it. Great job on the two tone...:thumbup::thumbup:
