• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mount Cell Phone on STS

Cellphone ? Your not talking on your cellphone while you ride are you ? Remember "it takes two hands for beginners and one fully functioning brain with no distractions" to ride the STS. :joke:

+1 on the RAM X-grip. Works great. I have my phone patched into my bluetooth and have used it for GPS as well as taking calls.

I stock cell waterproof phone holders

My phone and GPS holders are water proof and are not costly check my site for a look at them
they start at @ $25.00 for water proof case AND the mount

Anyone know of a good way to mount your cell phone on an STS?

I understand what most are saying about the cellphone on a motorcycle, but in my case I am on call 24/7 365 days a year(yes on Christmas day ,Thanksgiving or any other day). I don't talk while riding ,but must be aware that I have been called in a reasonable time period of time that's why mine is up front. (This RTS is now my daily driver)

just my 2 cents

How about a Bluetooth set up in your helmet, then you could have the phone about anywhere on you or in the Frunk. Just a thought...
I do understand the 24/7 on call dilemma, been there, done that, old enough not to have to do it anymore!

Im with you. I don't really want it for calls or text messages, but I do use it as my GPS and for music. I have it figured out. Will post PICs this weekend. Basically I got a USB rocker switch from Amazon and a steering bolt extension from SpyderTV and connected it to a RAM mount.
