• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"Motorcycle Strap Keeps Riders Safe"

I think I am going to pass on that option.

Note that they do not appear to be following the ATGATT. No helmets, riding boots, gloves, exposed bare skin. I know, its probably just to show the harness against the t-shirts--BUT--in real life--they should have safety gear.

Now to the harness itself--It will keep the passenger close to the rider---but I am sure that in a collision or accident--both will be ejected together--not a great scene to contemplate.

Grab rails, sissy bars, and large backrests, are better items to keep the passenger on the bike. Motions that cause the passenger to lean etc. should be kept at a minimun during the early stages.

I have seen so many people dressed like that and screaming past me on a sport bike--that it puts a lump in my throat to contemplate what may happen if they had to stop quick. Even with the harness--I don't think the outcome would be great.

Yeah, I gave the benefit of the doubt that they weren't wearing gear just to better show off the harness...
