• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've been playing around with mounting options and think I like the passenger seat best. Bungie net secured to hand rails and the bottom 20" strap around the backrest. Still figuring it out.

I've been trying to upload some pics but I keep getting a message that I don't have the required permissions....:banghead:

Do you guys actually ride without stopping long enough to need 50ozs of water on board? My longest day of riding was 750 miles in a day. We got gas, a drink, bathroom break and snack or meal as required. If I drank 50ozs of water w/o stopping I would need another outlet tube. LOL

The issue for me is that I don't stop often enough. The desert Southwest is full of wide open spaces with no shade. I'm better off I think staying moving, but sipping water constantly.

I would seriously try to find a modular helmet that fits. You may have tried them all, but if not I would keep looking.

I have a truly long-oval head. No one makes a modular helmet for that shape. I tried a Neotec but it hurt my head too much.

No Papa I don't drink the whole gallon between gas stops, my Spyder is only good for about 150 miles and by that time I am ready for a stop. I will go thru about a 3rd of that and at the end of a hot day I'll have drunk pretty close to all of it. plus whatever I get at gas stops and I'll still chug a quart at dinner. Hot weather will suck the water out of you like clothes in a dryer. You wont need that extra outlet because you will have expelled most of it thru your skin. That is what they were referring to earlier in the thread about not having to pee.
